Y3 have been inspired by Gustav Klimt/Karla Gerard & have produced these fantastic landscapes using the sgraffito technique. They have used a surface layer of pale oil pastel colours with a darker layer on top. They then used different tools to scratch patterns into their work.

Celebrations have been underway at this week as the school celebrated its 30th anniversary 🗣 “Students have enjoyed hearing about the history of the school and about the difference it has made to the lives of generations of local children”

A reminder for our Year 6 parents that the deadline for applying to secondary schools in 2022 is 31 October 2021. This is a Sunday so there will be no schools open to support that weekend so best get those applications in asap!


On Monday, had the privilege of visiting the British Museum in Russell Square! Our highlights were the Egyptians, particularly the sarcophagi! We're very grateful to the parents who accompanied us, without you trips like this would be impossible for us.

Wrap Around Care

Breakfast Club

Breakfast club is open Monday to Friday from 7.30am. Children must arrive by 8.00am at the latest. The cost per child is £3 per day.

Please email for any further information or to book a place for your child (ren). We allocate on a first come, first served basis and do have a waiting list. 

Payment for all clubs will be in advance for the half term and payable on Parent Pay.

After School Care

After school childcare provision is available from 3:30pm - 6:00pm. The cost per child is £11 per day or £50 per week. The club has a range of activities including Arts and Crafts, Baking and Outdoor fun and includes a healthy snack such as Yoghurt, Fruit and Popcorn.

We provide a broad range of clubs as an extension to our curriculum at HPAPL. Children can attend our Breakfast Club from 7:30am to enjoy a healthy breakfast, games and conversation with our team and their friends. Our After School activities are mainly on-site, in the gymnasium or classrooms, from 3:30 - 4:30pm.  The football teams regularly participate in competitive games, so this will involve travel to other local schools and events.  

Outside of COVID-19 a typical After School Club timetable is as follows: 

Monday: 3.30pm – 4.30pm - Reading Club, Phonics club, Spanish, Baking, Multi skills, iMovie, Drawing club and STEM.

Tuesday: 3.30pm – 4.30pm - Mathletics,Running club, Homewrok club, Arts and crafts, Shakespeare, Glee club, Clay club and Gospel choir.

Wednesday: 3.30pm – 4.30pm - Ballroom, Mathletics, iMovie, Phonics Club and Arts and crafts.

Thursday: 3.30pm – 4.30pm - Roller Skating, Messy play, Percussion, Messy play,  Football club, and Astronomy. 

Friday: 3.30pm – 4.30pm - Steel pan, Creative musin on ipad, Chess club, Football club, Keywords, Phonics, Musical theatre and Glee club.
